Our Story

Arrowhead Farms is a built on the foundation of family, integrity, preservation, and connection. Five generations of wholesome beings have preserved this beautiful land, passing it down to one another, while maintaining its integrity.

Lane Smith, great-great grandson of the original land steward, and founder of our event business, named our estate Arrowhead Farms. Born onto this land, he spent his childhood exploring every inch of the property. As a young boy, he found many arrowheads here, hence the name. His most cherished memories are with his Grandfather, Earl Stover.

Earl had a deep love for caring for our land and was a great story teller. He shared many tales of the rich Native American history of the property and remembers the original indian burial grounds nearby.

“We feel our land is sacred and holds inspiration from all who came before us. Many experience the same feelings when visiting Arrowhead Farms.”

The land was originally purchased by our family in 1911, from our ancestors living in Chicago, Illinois. They chose the property from a map “site unseen”. It was quite the pilgrimage to Florida, by way of horse and buggy. They stopped halfway in Savannah and worked the port to gather enough resources to complete the journey to Tampa. Arrowhead Farms was born.

Today our roaming 40 acres of Florida Wetlands is a sanctuary for many birds, fish, deer, peacocks, and other wild animals. Our open fields provide you with the space you crave, while our winding oaks and lush pines, teleport you to a forest far away. We can’t wait to share space with you for your dream event.
